O M G. i was already gonna declare this the song of the summer (well maybe no. 2 song of the summer after Beat of My Drum) and then the video recreated this summer!
a) at the 1:45 mark, she’s outside my friend logan’s apartment
b) at the 1:57 mark, she’s outside 2 Bros. Pizza which, for several weeks in a row, i couldn’t seem to walk past without stopping. (definitely stopped in there at 11:30 am before governor’s ball and again 12 hours later after Governor’s Ball.)
c) tons of neon wayfarers (3:00) that were so ubiquitous this summer that at Governor’s Ball i swore they must’ve been passing them out at the entrance.
d) i’m pretty sure we’ve danced just like this (1:23) on sidewalks all over the east village.
e) that outfit’s basically a female version of my short shorts, tank top, and high tops.
